Ranchi Press Club Protests J-K Journalist Killing

The Ranchi Press Club today held a protest against the killing of journalist Shujaat Bukhari in Kashmir yesterday and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
The members of the Club held placards while protesting the killing of the veteran journalist.
The placards read stop attacking journalists, arrest killers of Bukhari and hang them, implement act on the security of journalists and stop attacking the fourth pillar.
The journalists observed two minutes of silence.
Ranchi Press Club secretary, Sambhu Nath Choudhary, Vice President Surendra Soren, Executive members Prakash Pathak, Jai Shankar, Pintu Dubey, Sanjay Ranjan, Saroj, Prasant Mitra, Bhuvan Jha, Amit Kumar and Rakesh Kumar participated in the protest among others, according to a press release of the Club.
