Why Hasn’t PM Modi Done a Single Press Conference in 4.5 Years? Sambit Patra Will Tell You, Says Amit Shah
The BJP President was caught off-guard while addressing the press in Delhi.
Addressing a press conference in Delhi on Friday, December 7, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah was caught off-guard by a reporter who asked what Shah had to say about Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s earlier remark that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not done a single press conference in four-and-a-half years of his rule.

In response to the reporter’s question, Shah tries to dodge it by saying, “Sambit (Patra) ji will anser Rahul ji.” However, when asked again, Shah repeats, “Sambit Patra ji” and looks away. Since the question is pressed again, Shah says, visibly agitated, “He (Sambit Patra) will give (the answer), for the party(BJP).”
On December 5, Gandhi had jibed, “its been 1,654 days since u became PM. Still no press conference?”, adding that PM Modi should, “Try one (press conference) someday, it’s fun having questions thrown at you!”
Dear Mr Modi,
Now that campaigning is over, hope you can spare some time for your part-time job as PM.
