Municipality Officer Arrested For Allegedly Taking Rs. 5000/- Bribe
Seems to have made no attempt to escape to London.
Jaipur, Mar 23 An officer working in the Sangaria municipality in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan was today arrested by the anti-corruption bureau for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. Sandeep Vishnoi, working as the executive officer at the municipality, was caught red-handed by the bureau officials.
According to the officials, the accused had asked money from the complainant for not initiating a probe into the latter’s illegal construction activities. A middleman in the case, Vinod Kumar, has also been arrested in the case, they said.
