Fake Degree Row: DUSU President, ABVP’s Ankiv Baisoya, Can’t Recall A Single Subject He Studied, Can’t Name A Professor Either
In two years, Baisoya has forgotten all the subjects he had studied during graduation, his favorite topics and names of his professors.
The newly elected Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) president Ankiv Baisoya said that he had studied “several types of subjects” during his Bacherlor’s at Thiruvalluvar University in Tamil Nadu.
However, when a reporter asked which subjects he had studied, Baisoya gave a vague answer, “I studied subjects like English, skill based subjects, core theory subjects and several types of subjects.” When asked which topic or subject was his favorite, he again parroted “skill-based subjects.”
The 23-year-old member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was quick to reply that studied at Thiruvalluvar University from 2013-2016. But he could not recall the name of a single professor. Baisoya’s excuse is that because it has been over two years since he graduated, he has forgotten their names.

Baisoya had obtained admission in Delhi University’s postgraduate Buddhist Studies programme this year by submitting graduation certificate that is allegedly from Thiruvalluvar University.+
Earlier this week, the Congress-backed National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) alleged that newly elected DUSU president Ankiv Baisoya had submitted fake documents to gain admission in the varsity. NSUI released a letter from Thiruvalluvar University that states that Basoiya’s certificate “is a fake certificate.”
