Does Delhi’s Pollution have an Effect on its Editors?
A review of various newspapers of 20 November shows poor coverage of serious issues against NSA Ajit Doval in Delhi-based newspapers as compared to their outstation counterparts.
Look at the headlines in today’s newspapers across the country. Yesterday, an affidavit in the Supreme Court by a serving senior IPS officer brought out the murkiest dealings of the Modi government, with alleged direct linkages of a union minister, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Central Vigilance Commissioner, Cabinet Secretary and the Law Secretary. All these officials are perceived to be personally close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Doesn’t this tell you a story? It is perhaps the pollution in Delhi and NCR which affects the editors of so-called national dailies, when it comes to covering the high and the mighty in the Modi government. Or is it something else?
