Two People Who Claim To Be Reliance Employees Found on EVM ‘Strong Room’ Premises With Laptops. Police baffled.
The two were detained from a strong room in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
On December 5, 2018, two persons were reportedly detained from a strong room housing Electronic Voting Machines(EVMs) in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
The two were found to be in possession of laptops in the strong room. The police said that both the men did not have any IDs on them and claimed to be employees of Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio, reported ANI.

ABP News reported that two police officers have been suspended for the security lapse.
On Wednesday, November 5, a BSF sub-inspector was allegedly found using a laptop computer outside a strongroom in Bemetara district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday.
There have been several other incidents that hint at EVM tampering in poll-bound BJP-ruled states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
