Asking for Votes, BJP Tweets Map of Telangana as Mizoram

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP)’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday, November 28 posted a map of Telangana while asking people to “Vote for the development of Mizoram”.

Twitter users soon reminded the party of its poor knowledge about the state of Mizoram. The embarrassment was worsened by the fact that voting began in the state this morning.

It didn’t take long before all the jokes arrived.
