Amit Shah’s Attempt To Politicise Former Army Chief Draws Ire Of Retired Generals
Shah met former Army chief General Dalbir Singh at Singh’s residence in Delhi today.
Retired army officers including Gen H S Panag (Retd.) and Lt Gen Prakash Menon (Retd.) on Tuesday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah for launching a political campaign from an army man’s residence.

General Dalbir Singh, who retired on December 31, 2015 is provided official accommodation by the government for a period of three years after retirement. That the President of a political party was hosted in an official residence inside military cantonment has raised eyebrows.
