Amar Singh Gives Jaitley A Certificate Of Honesty
According to Singh’s irrefutable logic, Jaitley doesn’t have the “need” to commit a financial fraud.
Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on Saturday, felt compelled to give a ‘clean chit’ to Finance Minister Arun Jaitely on charges of corruption.
On Tuesday, Vijay Mallya had issued a statement saying he had met Jaitley before leaving for London and had told him that he was leaving the country. This serious revelation has prompted corruption allegations against Jaitley and opposition parties are demanding his resignation.
But Amar Singh, thinks Jaitley is innocent. His reasons – even though Jaitely is a talkative person and that his ‘eyes light up’ at the sight of ‘veg and non-veg’ food.
According to Singh, Jaitley doesn’t have the “need” to commit a financial fraud.
I have known @arunjaitley for years. He can be blamed for being extra talkative & his addiction for good food. Corruption that to a financial nature is something which is beyond his capabilities. Please spare the gentleman @BJP4India @narendramodi @INCIndia @RahulGandhi pic.twitter.com/Qqr78zrwrb

Singh might think otherwise, but this is not the first time Jaitely has been accused of corruption. Last year, MP Kirti Azad was expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party, when he had spoken against corruption in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) during Jaitley’s tenure and President.
