Non-Subsidised LPG Cylinder to Cost Rs 6 More; Petrol, Diesel Prices Also Hiked

In Delhi, a 14.2-kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 712.50.

The price of petrol and diesel jumped five paise per litre across major Indian cities on 30 April, while the price of non-subsidised LPG has been hiked by Rs 6.

Economic Times reported that A 14.2-kg subsidised LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 496.14 in the Delhi as against Rs 495.86 previously. A non-subsidised LPG cylinder will cost Rs 712.50 in the national capital.

In the first three months of 2019, domestic fuel prices have largely been on the rise. Since January petrol prices have shot up over Rs 4 per litre in Delhi.

CNBC TV-18 reported that in Mumbai petrol cost Rs 78.70 per litre, while diesel cost Rs 69.83 per litre.

Per Indian Oil Corporation data, in New Delhi petrol cost Rs 73.13 per litre and diesel Rs 66.71 per litre. Kolkata reported petrol price to be at Rs 75.15 per litre and diesel was at Rs 68.45 per litre.

In Chennai petrol was sold at Rs 75.90 per litre while diesel was sold at Rs 70.44 per litre.
