Man, Allegedly BJP MLA, Caught on Camera Influencing Voters Inside Polling Booth (Video)
The man appears to be directing women voters when they approach the EVM.
In a video grab shared by a Twitter user, a man, allegedly a Bhartiya Janta Party MLA is seen standing in the restricted area inside a polling booth. Standing right next to the EVM, the man appears to be directing women voters when they approach the ballot
It is alleged that the man is Brajesh Singh, the BJP MLA from Deoband, Uttar Pradesh.
In the minute long clip, it is seen that as the women get their voter ID cards verified and enter the polling area, the man places himself next to the EVM as they cast their votes. He is also seen pointing fingers towards the EVM multiple times, ostensibly to direct the voters whom to vote for.

The video has now gone viral on social media.
While the brazen violation of election laws is on record, there are no reports of any action taken by the Election Commission in the matter.
