Haven’t Seen Such Agrarian Distress Since Independence, Modi Govt Is Anti-farmer: Yechury
Farmers marching as part of the ‘Kisan Kranti Padyatra’ are being prevented by the police from entering Delhi.
After thousands of protesting farmers were stopped from entering Delhi, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury called the Narendra Modi government ‘anti-farmer’ for exasperating the farmers’ crisis.
Yechury told ANI, “Instead of providing relief to farmers they are exasperating the crisis further forcing farmers to be under debt burden & distress suicides.”
It reconfirms the fact that Modi govt is anti-farmers. Instead of providing relief to farmers they are exasperating the crisis further forcing farmers to be under debt burden&distress suicides.
