Madhya Pradesh: Two Farmers Brutally Thrashed By Cops In Vidisha
The farmers had come to register for the Bhavantar Bhugtaan Yojana.
A father and son, both farmers, were brutally thrashed by Madhya Pradesh police officials in Vidisha, reported CNN News18.
The incident took place after the duo got into an argument with other farmers standing in a queue to register themselves under Madhya Pradesh’s Bhavantar Bhugtaan Yojana.
In the video which has gone viral on the internet, two police officials can be seen dragging the father and son out of the queue and beating them up.
Other farmers who witnessed the incident were enraged at the officials and reported it at a nearby police station.
The concerned police officials have now been reportedly suspended but no written complaint has been filed against them.
