Bhopal: After Violating Traffic Rules, 3 People Claiming To Be CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Relatives Create Ruckus Near Vidhan Sabha
The entire incident was recorded on video.
VVIP culture in India requires no introduction. An example of this was witnessed in Bhopal when three people, apprehended by the police for a traffic violation, created a ruckus and intimidated the policemen by claiming that they were Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s relatives.
The incident, which took place on Thursday near the Vidhan Sabha in Bhopal, was caught on video and reported by ANI.

The man in the video can be seen claiming that he is the brother-in-law of CM Chouhan, while a woman can be seen handing her phone to the police officer, asking him to speak to Chouhan who is apparently at the other end of the line.
The confidence with which the trio is asserting their ‘authority’ over the policemen hints that the political connections they speak of, are real. However, it remains to be conclusively established if the three are, in fact, CM Chouhan’s relatives.
Responding to the controversy, CM Shivraj gave an ambiguous statement which raised further doubts. He said, “Aisa hai ki meri croreon behene hain MP mein aur main bahut se logon ka saala hun. Kanoon apna kaam karega (I have a crore sisters and am the brother-in-law of many. The law will take its course.)”
