My Father Lived And Died In The Service Of India. The Views Of A Character On A Fictional Web Series Can Never Change That: Rahul Gandhi
I believe freedom of speech is a fundamental democratic right: Rahul Gandhi
In the context of Congress party opposing Netflix show Sacred Games, party president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday underlined that he is a believer in freedom of expression.
“My father lived and died in the service of India. The views of a character on a fictional web series can never change that,” Gandhi said.
Here is Gandhi’s tweet:
BJP/RSS believe the freedom of expression must be policed & controlled. I believe this freedom is a fundamental democratic right.
My father lived and died in the service of India. The views of a character on a fictional web series can never change that.#SacredGames
